Objective
The SiLAS project aims to establish a new technology platform in the electronics industry based on a special type of  SiGe. We have defined the following objectives:
  • Synthesis of high quality SiGe nanowires
  • Study the optical properties of SiGe nanowires
  • Demonstrate an electrically pumped SiGe nanolaser
  • Create a path for CMOS integration
